Adam Vieira (he/him) joined Samvid Ventures as a Senior Associate in 2021. He works closely with the Community Resilience Prize and Samvid Scholars programs. Adam is passionate about program design, community development, urban placemaking, and collaborative governance.
Prior to Samvid Ventures, Adam was an implementation and operations manager at McMaster-Carr in Chicago, IL. Adam has also conducted research projects at the Brookings Institution, the City of Providence Office of Economic Opportunity, and various offices in Rhode Island state government.
Adam was born and raised in New Bedford, MA. Adam is a first-generation college student, with an MPP from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and an AB in Public Policy & History from Brown University. He lives in Brooklyn, NY.
