Program Details
All CRP recipients will receive direct funding for their programs and will join a learning community of workforce development program professionals.
- Ongoing, inter-city forums for an active cohort of Community Resilience Prize organizations to learn, share ideas, and network
- An award between $10,000 and $50,000 for non-profit programs in Detroit, Miami-Dade County, or New York City
Eligibility Requirements
We will be partnering with organizations in our focus geographies that run highly impactful training programs that result in high-quality job placement and retention for low-to-moderate income individuals.
- Applicant organizations must be based in Detroit, Hamtramck, Highland Park, Miami-Dade County, and/or New York City
- Applicant organizations must serve Detroit, Hamtramck, Highland Park, Miami-Dade County, and/or New York City
- Organization must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization or fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
- Proposed program must focus on workforce development training programs
- Proposed program must focus programming exclusively on low-to-moderate income individuals
- Proposed program must take place in the 2022 calendar year
- Please note that places of worship are not eligible
Application
We strive to run a clear and swift application process and commit to quick communications and rapid payment disbursements for recipients.
- Application will be in two parts
- Part 1 will be completed by all eligible organizations
- Selected finalists will complete Part 2 of the application
Timeline
- November 15th Application opens
- November 22nd Application closes at 12pm Noon
- December 1st Finalists notified
- December 1st – December 8th Finalists complete Part 2 of Application and schedule final interview
- December 15th – December 16th Finalist interviews
- December 17th Recipients announced
