Kat Tiscornia is the Associate for Samvid Scholars where she supports program design and management for current Scholars and prospective students.

Kat has experience in both higher education and social impact through her roles in consulting and nonprofit development. Before joining Samvid Ventures, Kat worked as a Strategy & Operations Associate at Huron Consulting Group specializing in organizational and operational transformation.

She is driven towards creating social change through innovation, education, and accessible solutions.
Kat graduated cum laude from Duke University with a BA in Sociology and Global Health. Kat currently lives in New York City and on the weekends enjoys exploring new restaurants.
