Musammat Akter was born in Bangladesh, but grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She will graduate from Cass Technical High School in June 2022. Musammat loves all of her classes, but her favorite is her IB Physics class, where she learned to see the world in a different light. Musammat also enjoys participating in her cinema, art, and Red Cross club. She is very proud that the DIA included her artworks in their student exhibitions. This upcoming fall, Musammat plans on studying Computer Science at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. She is excited to gain new experiences and meet new people.
