Olga Luna was born in Detroit, MI and raised in a community in southwest Detroit known as Mexicantown. She graduated from Detroit Cristo Rey High School in 2020 and began attending the University of Michigan the following summer as a member of a Michigan Learning Community known as the Comprehensive Studies Program. She is working towards a Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience (BCN) major and a Spanish major with a minor in Community Action and Social Change (CASC). She is involved with the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor chapter of the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC). Olga’s goal is to become a clinical psychologist who helps assess and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders and helps people find healing and peace in their lives.
