Priya Patterson-Lee was born and raised on the East Side of Detroit, MI. She graduated valedictorian of University Prep Science and Math High School in 2020, going on to pursue a degree at Michigan State University that fall. Priya is currently striving towards a Neuroscience major with a concentration in Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience, while studying under the Honors College. Priya aspires to cultivate change for youth and young adults both in and out of the classroom. She implements this being an Undergraduate Learning Assistant and being a mentor for incoming freshmen. As of Fall 2022, Priya will serve as the Mentorship Coordinator for the First-Generation Honors Association.
